Today, the manufacturer released the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi Pro 10 products. After the conference, many people wondered what the differences between the two phones are and which one is worth buying. Let’s take a look at what is different between the two.
Camera
The first is photography. Both the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro have 100-megapixel quad cameras, but the lens specifications are different.
The original Mi 10 lenses are:
108MP custom main lens (1/33 inch photosensitive element, OIS, 1.6μm large pixel 4 in 1 super pixel, f/1.69 super aperture, 7P lens).
13MP super wide-angle lens (f/2.4 aperture, 123° super wide angle);
2MP macro lens (f/2.4 aperture, 2-10cm macro);

The Mi 10 Pro’s 108MP main lens has been upgraded with an 8P lens, and the ultra-wide-angle lens has been changed to 20MP lens (f/2.2 aperture, 117° ultra-wide angle).
At the same time, the 2MP macro lens and 2MP depth of field lens were replaced by 8MP telephoto lens (supporting 10x hybrid optical zoom, OIS, 1.0μm, f/2.0 aperture) and 12MP portrait lens (2x optical zoom, 1.4-micron large pixels, 2PD dual-core focus, f/2.0 aperture).
It can be seen that Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is mainly superior in telephoto (10x hybrid optical zoom, 50x digital zoom) and portrait shooting.
In addition, in the special camera function, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro supports super wide-angle super night scene, 960fps slow-motion shooting, 960fps macro slow-motion shooting, moon mode (requires AI camera), and the video super image stabilization has been upgraded to the PRO version. Stronger anti-shake capability.
This is also the reason why the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro could top DxOMark’s list with 124 points.
Battery and Charging
Another obvious difference is the battery and fast charging.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 sports a built-in 4780mAh battery (typical), and is equipped with a line 30W charger as standard. It supports 30W fast flash charging, 30W wireless flash charging, and 10W wireless reverse charging.
The Xiaomi 10 Pro features a 4500mAh (typical) battery, and is equipped with a standard 65W charger, which supports 50W fast flash charging, 30W wireless flash charging, and 10W wireless reverse charging. It also passed TüV Rheinland Fast Fast Charge 3.0 certification.
It should be noted that the 30W wireless flash charging of both smartphones must be matched with Xiaomi’s 30W vertical air-cooled wireless charging accessory (this accessory must be purchased separately), as well as the data cable and charger in the package.
Xiaomi Mi 10 / Pro Features
Both phones have the same appearance, size, and weight. The height is 162.6mm, the width is 74.8mm, the thickness is 8.96mm, and the weight is 208g.
The screen is basically the same – 6.67-inch AMOLED hyperboloid screen, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz sampling rate, resolution of 2340 x 1080 (FHD+), screen brightness of 800nit (HBM) / 500nit (typ), contrast of 5000000:1, 100% coverage DCI-P3 and sRGB color gamut, Rheinland Low Blue Light certification, and Corning 5th Generation Gorilla Glass.
The only difference is that Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro supports HDR10 + high dynamic range image display.
The core configuration of the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is completely the same: Snapdragon 865, LPDDR5 high-speed memory, and UFS 3.0 high-speed storage.
In addition, both phones use dual 1216 ultra-linear speakers and dual Smart PA loud speakers. The Xiaomi Mi 10 is equivalent to a 1.0cc x 2 super large sound cavity design, and the Mi 10 Pro is equivalent to a 1.2cc x 2 super large sound cavity design.
In terms of colors, Xiaomi Mi 10 offers three options: titanium silver black, ice blue, peach gold. And the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro provides two types: pearl white, starry blue.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 will be available for sale at 10 o’clock on February 14, and the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro will be available for sale at 10 o’clock on February 18.
Recommendation
If you don’t have the extreme pursuit of taking photos and fast charging, and the budget is around 4000, you can start with Xiaomi Mi 10 decisively. We recommend the 8GB + 256GB (4299 yuan) variant.
But if you want the best phone available on the market, we recommend the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 12GB + 256GB (5499 yuan).
