Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S Will Be Released In Malaysia On March 23

Xiaomi Malaysia announced earlier today that it will launch a new phone called Redmi Note 9S in the country on March 23. Usually, this can explain the information recently listed on the SIRIM database. But specific names need to be verified.

Earlier this week, Xiaomi released two phones, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and the Redmi Note 9 Pro in India. And this may be the third Redmi Note 9 series phone.

Even in the era of the Redmi Note 8 series, there was no ‘S’ model. So it is still not clear what the specific configuration of the Redmi Note 9S model will come with. But from the poster, we can assume that the Redmi Note 9S will also sport a rear Yuba quad-camera module.

The new Redmi Note 9 Pro Max uses a full 3D curved glass body with a symmetrical design and a 6.67-inch FHD+ punch-hole screen on the front. It adopts a side fingerprint recognition solution and is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G + LPDDR4X + UFS2.1 hardware combination. There are a few variants of 6GB + 64GB / 128GB and 8 + 128GB.

On the back, it carries a 64MP main + 8MP super wide-angle + 5MP macro + 2MP depth of field quad-camera combination. And on the opposite side, there is a 32MP single camera. The phone supports 2x2MIMO WiFi, integrated Z-axis vibration, and comes with other features, including the 3.5mm headphone jack, the battery of 5020mAh, and a standard 33W fast charge support.

In terms of price, the Redmi Note 9 Pro 4GB + 64GB version is priced at 12999 rupees (about $175), the 6GB + 128GB version is 15999 rupees (about $216); the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max 6GB + 64GB version is priced at 14999 rupees (about $202), the 6GB + 128GB version is 16999 rupees (about $229), and the 8GB + 128GB version is 18999 rupees (about $256).
