On February 26, Black Shark publicly talked about the Black Shark 3. The company stated this handset will come with a 4720mAh dual-battery system and support 65W fast flash charging. Thus, it can charge 2780mAh in 15 minutes.

The dual-battery system differs from the similar system of other manufacturers. The director of the Black Shark Product Center brought detailed analysis to this:
For the first time, the Tencent Black Shark Gaming Mobile Phone 3 is equipped with an exclusive patented dual-battery ‘string charge and discharge’ power management system.
The advantage of series charging is that the current flows through two batteries at the same time, the charging time is halved, and the charging is faster. The battery’s equivalent internal resistance is reduced by half when it is put in parallel. And the shutdown voltage is lower, which allows the battery to release more power. At the same time, it has a stronger load capacity, and easily copes with the heavy-load scenario of 5G + games.

In order to realize the series charging and discharging system, Black Shark customized a smart power management chip and two low-resistance e-sports batteries. After 22 months of continuous optimization, it achieved precise control of dual-battery series-parallel switching and power balance.
In addition, the charging and discharging cycle life of the Black Shark 3 is measured to be more than 30% higher than that of the ordinary flagship. The entire charging and discharging process can achieve 2780mAh charge in 15 minutes, and equivalently discharges 300mAh more power during discharge.
Black Shark 3 Rumored Features
The Black Shark 2 pioneered a multi-finger 240Hz screen touch sampling rate. In this sense, the Black Shark 3 broke through again, raising the touch sampling rate to 270Hz. At the same time, the touch algorithm was fine-tuned. The single-finger touch latency was reduced to 24ms, and the multi-finger touch latency was reduced to 28ms.
In the core configuration, the Black Shark 3 uses a 2K+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 flagship platform and supports SA and NSA dual-mode 5G. It should support screen fingerprint recognition, WiFi 6, and dual speakers.
Luo Yuzhou, CEO of Black Shark Technology, said that Black Shark gaming phones are all evolutionary species of flagship smartphones, including Apple. ‘We are fully ahead of most of the flagship smartphones in the market in terms of design, performance, control and charging and discharging efficiency.’
The aircraft will be released online on March 3.
