Today, British old sports car brand Lotus released its first generation of the super electric car the Evija. The latest model features an incredible 1,973 horsepower engine. It is available on a starting price of 1.7 million pounds.
Even though the Lotus Evija is the first electric supercar from the manufacturer, but still it features all the unique characteristics and elements of the traditional lotus models. The latest Evija performance is comparable or even surpasses that of the same level of fuel-run cars. Its massive 1973 horsepower engine, allows the Evija to go from 0 to 100 km acceleration is less than 3 seconds. The latest electric car comes with a maximum speed of 321 kilometers per hour, and it takes around 9 seconds to reach a speed of 300 kilometers per hour.

In terms of design, the Lotus Evija features a futuristic design, which is one of the main highlights of the latest electric car. Its interiors come with a rectangular main dashboard design to blend with the interior of the model. Being an electric car it also features a variety of driving modes, including ECO and CITY modes. You can recharge it in 9 minutes with the 800kW charger while charging time takes 18 minutes with a 350kW charger. Lotus has not yet released Evija’s battery capacity; however, according to the sources it comes with a staggering cruising range of 435 kilometers. Lotus Evija will be officially put into production next year with a limited production of 130 units.
