Xiaomi Full-Screen TV Pro Went on Sale and Sold Out

According to Xiaomi official news, the Xiaomi full-screen TV Pro went on sale today. The 55-inch version is priced at 2399 yuan ($337), while the 65-inch version costs 3399 yuan ($477).

As you remember, the Xiaomi full-screen TV Pro was uncovered on September 24. The TV system adopts metal body design and has 4K panels, with a screen ratio of 97%.

In terms of hardware, Xiaomi’s full-screen TV Pro is equipped with a 12nm process technology TV chip called Amlogic T972. The chip uses a quad-core Cortex-A55 architecture, clocked at up to 1.9GHz. Compared to the previous generation of 1.5GHz T962, the performance is increased by 63%. At the same time, the Amlogic T972 integrates about 1.5 billion transistors. This is about three times as many as the previous generation. In addition, the whole system comes standard with 2GB+32GB storage combination. More importantly, the T972 chip which jointly developed by Xiaomi TV and Amlogic is the first to support 8K video content playback. Officially, this means that Xiaomi Full Screen TV Pro is ready for the 8K TV era.

In other aspects, this TV product has built-in Xiao Ai digital assistant. Plus, it supports PatchWall, Dolby + DTS double decoding, 2 × 8W speakers, and so on.

By the way, not surprisingly, the first batch of these TV products got the ‘out of stock’ status swiftly. Particularly, users ‘cleared’ the 55-inch and 65-inch variants. And only the 43-inch version is available for purchase now. The 43-inch version cost 1,499 yuan ($210). This simply means the cheapest variant is the less interesting model to customers.
