Huawei Watch GT2 Gets Update, Bringing Variety of Sport Modes

Today, Huawei announced the Huawei Watch GT2 is getting 1.0.3.16 new update. The update supports sleep apnea research and GPS positioning speed.

The update includes:

  1. Added support for sleep apnea research (supporting sports health app 10.0.2.511 and heart health research app 2.0.0),
  2. Add style to standby dial,
  3. Some dials add custom capabilities,
  4. Optimize GPS positioning speed.

In terms of configuration the Huawei Watch GT2 sports a new Kirin A1 chip, dual-chip design, and the BT/BLE dual-mode Bluetooth 5.1 standard. It allows achieving ultra-high-speed Bluetooth data transmission. The Huawei Watch GT2 integrates a high-quality 3D glass face to create a bezel-less vision. What’s even more impressive is that the smartwatch is equipped with intelligent power-saving technology. Thus you can use speakers and microphones for Bluetooth calls through the Huawei Watch GT2. Unlike the previous versions, the smartwatch has a larger storage space. Hence you can store up to 200 songs for independent playback. 

The Huawei Watch GT2 comes with two versions: 46mm and 42mm which serves you day and night. Speaking about battery life the 46mm model lasts for 2 weeks while the 42mm version has 1-week battery life. Also, to make your everyday life easier, the Huawei Watch GT2 new update added a variety of sports modes, in-device music, message notification, TrueSleepTM 2.0 sleep tracking, TrueRelasTM pressure monitoring, etc.

The price of the 46mm model starts at 1488 yuan while the 42mm model starts at 1388 yuan which equals $208 and $194 respectively. The 46mm version has 3 editions: Sport, Classic and Elite. The 42mm model also introduces 3 editions: Sport, Classic and Elegant.
