Today, MediaTek Technology’s product communication conference took place. At the conference, MediaTek revealed the news of the Dimensity 800 series chip. The latter is positioned as the flagship and mid-range SoC. Terminal products equipped with this processor will be officially listed in the second quarter of next year. Nevertheless, the MediaTek 800 chip will be officially released in the first quarter of next year.
More details about the Dimensity 800 chip are not officially disclosed.
On November 26 this year, MediaTek officially released a new 5G chip brand ” Dimensity”, while bringing the first integrated 5G SoC – Dimensity 1000.

The Dimensity1000 has been the number one in a list of categories. The list is including the world’s fastest 5G single chip and the world’s first support for 5G dual-carrier aggregation. Besides, it is also including the world’s first support for 5G dual-card dual-standby. The next categories in the list are the world’s first 5G with integrated Wi-Fi 6 SoC. The world ’s first flagship 4-core A77 CPU, the flagship Mali G77 GPU and the world ’s highest AnTuTu benchmark are ending the list.
The Dimensity 1000 uses a 7nm process technology. The CPU uses 4 large cores + 4 small core architectures, including 4 2.6GHz A77 cores. Compared to the previous generation 4 2.0GHz A55 cores, the performance is increased by 20%. The GPU is a 9-core Mali G77. Compared to the previous generation G76, the performance has increased by 40%, and AnTuTu has scored more than 510,000+.
