New Samsung Tablet Leaked in GeekBench, Packing Snapdragon 855

With the emergence of large and full-screen smartphones, seems the tablets have become useless. At least, many manufacturers have starting thinking in this way, and many customers began throwing their eyes on the smartphones that are more portable and provide better performance. But not all companies think so. Moreover, there are still many users that want new tablets. In this sense, Samsung is among those that seems will never refuse this market. Moreover, it’s going to launch a high-end product soon. Today, a new tablet product with a code name of the Samsung TABLET (SM-T865) was leaked on GeekBench, showing 3506 points and 9788 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.

As the screenshot shows, the upcoming Samsung tablet will be packed with Qualcomm’s most powerful mobile platform, namely the Snapdragon 855. The latter is said to be paired with a 6GB of RAM.

Snapdragon 855 Design

In fact, the Snapdragon 855 has been made for not only a small product but for large-screen models as well. Say, we know this chip is going to be used in notebooks. So why it can’t be used in tablets? Probably, this was in minds of Samsung when the South Korean tech giant decided to design a new tablet with the most powerful mobile chip on the planet. As for the key features, it adopts the 1+3+4 core design, the highest frequency of up to 2.84GHz, the lowest frequency off 1.8GHz, and according to the official introduction, it has a 45% performance improvement in comparison to the previous generation.

At this moment, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is on sale. It is packed with a Snapdragon 835 processor, 2K Super AMOLED screen, 4GB of memory, and the price is $649.99. This new tablet with Snapdragon 855+6GB memory is not going to be cheap as well.
