On July 8, RedmiBook launched new products with an Intel platform, the RedmiBook 16 and the mainstream RedmiBook 14 II.
Key Feature: Intel Core 10th-gen Chip
The new products come with a new 10nm 10th-generation Intel Core processor and a GeForce MX350 discrete graphics card. In addition, it continues the RedmiBook’s usual comprehensive screen design, with a screen ratio of up to 90%.
The first batch of the RedmiBook 16/14 II new products have been launched for sale. Users can purchase them on Xiaomi Mall, Xiaomi Home, Youpin, Xiaomi Jingdong/Tmall/Suning flagship store and other channels.
Among them, the RedmiBook 14 II i5/16GB/512GB/MX350 is available for the final price of 4699 yuan ($672); the i5/8GB/512GB/MX350 model comes at 4499 yuan ($644).
The RedmiBook 14 II sport the new 10nm 10th-generation Intel Core processor. The highest version carries the i7-1065G7 model with a base frequency of 1.3GHz, a 4-core 8-thread, a core frequency of up to 3.9GHz. Plus, it features a GeForce MX350 discrete graphics card, a 2GB GDDR5 high-speed graphics memory, etc. So it can fully meet the user’s requirement for office, design, games, audio and video entertainment and other scenes.
Other Features of RedmiBook 14 II
In terms of heat dissipation, the RedmiBook 14 II has a 30% increase in fan volume and a 11% increase in fan blade diameter compared to the previous generation RedmiBook 14. While the rated speed of the fan is reduced by 16%, the maximum air volume is increased by 22%. It also has dual 6mm diameter heat pipes and a copper heat dissipation module. The maximum heat transfer is increased by 70%. The laptop supports a built-in FN + K performance intelligent selection mode. There are three AI modes: balanced mode, full-speed mode, and quiet mode.
The RedmiBook 14Ⅱ comes with a Xiaomi mutual transfer function, which supports multi-end file transfer between notebooks and smartphones. All types of content such as photos, documents, videos, installed applications and games can be shared with one click.
In addition, this laptop supports Xiaomi smart wearable devices to lock and unlock the RedmiBook notebook. With the Xiaomi Mi Band, it can achieve 1.2 seconds of non-sensing unlocking. At the same time, when the user leaves, it can also realize the automatic screen lock function to ensure data security and privacy.
The RedmiBook 14 Ⅱ is pre-installed with Windows 10 Home Edition operating system and genuine Office Home and Student Edition office software. It is permanently licensed and can be used only after power-on activation, eliminating the tedious process of users’ subsequent download and installation of office software.
