Redmi K30 Pro dual OIS

Redmi K30 Pro Dual OIS Technology Explained

Today, Redmi officially announced that its upcoming smartphone the Redmi K30 Pro will be equipped with dual OIS (optical image stabilization) for the first time. At the same time, Redmi brand general manager Lu Weibing also detailed the dual OIS image stabilization technology on Weibo.

Lu Weibing said that the 4-axis optical image stabilization supported by the 64-megapixel main camera of the Redmi K30 Pro can correct horizontal + vertical + forward tilt + roll shake. This is very helpful for photo/video recording. Its 4-axis optical anti-shake technology detects the shakes at high speed through the gyroscope and acceleration sensor in the smartphone. Then, it transmits the signal to the OIS processing end to calculate the displacement that needs to be compensated. After, it transmits the data to the micro-drive motor in real-time, quickly adjusting the attitude of the camera module. So it could effectively overcome the image blur caused by smartphone shake. The Redmi K30 Pro’s dual OIS optical image stabilization technology also helped solve the problem of easy fuzzing under handheld night scene shooting conditions.

Apart from this, the Redmi K30 Pro uses a 64-megapixel ultra-clear main camera + 3x optical telephoto lens. It also comes standard with a 60Hz Samsung AMOLED screen with an ultra-high contrast of 5000000:1 and a maximum brightness of 800nit. At the same time, it also adopts the Snapdragon 865 + LPDDR5 + UFS 3.1 solution, with a 3435mm² VC heat sink and a linear motor.

The new Redmi K30 Pro series will be officially released on March 24.
