Asus ROG Phone 2 just created a wondering milestone before its actual launch. On Monday, the company announced the Smartphone as the first with Snapdragon 855+ processor. On the next day, it was published on JD.com with pricing. Then the retailer started collecting registrations for the first flash sale to appear on July 31.
Just in the 2 days span, the Asus ROG Phone 2 won over 1.6 million registrations from the Chinese audience only. That is unbelievable to show the craze for the phone.
Among others, the strongest reason behind massive sign ups for this gaming phone is to be with the super-competitive price. The company is offering it just for CNY3,499 ($510).
The Tencent has helped the company in developing the ROG Phone 2. Now, the group is ready to install some bloatware on this cost-effective edition for the Chinese market.
Asus ROG Phone 2: Price Sheets
As per the announcement, the Asus ROG Phone 2 will come in dual-editions – a customized Tencent Edition and a Vanilla Edition.
At pricing, both versions have a little difference. The Tencent edition will cost users as low as CNY3,499 ($510). It will give an 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB as internal storage.
On the other side, the non-Tencent (Vanilla) edition boasts a 12 GB of RAM alongside internal storage of 128 GB against CNY6,000 ($870).
Similarly, if you want to quadruple the storage space, you will have to pay approx. CNY6,199 (Approx.$900) for the new Asus ROG 2.
News about some special editions like Zhizun and Esports Armor also comes to hear with price tags.
Finally, the Chinese users are ready to get and touch the device within a week. The international users will have to wait until mid-August to grab the phone.
