OPPO has announced that the OPPO Reno 5 series models will be officially released on December 10 and will go on sale before mid-December. Today, the company released a video of the all-star appearance of the new phone.
As a brand-new product of the Reno series, it continues to be a video-focused product, positioning as a “portrait video phone”. According to the official photo, the new machine will feature a rear quad-camera module, three of which are large lenses. The back cover will use the AG gradient matte process with high value. And the front face will use the upper left corner perforated surface.
At present, the new phone has opened an appointment in the OPPO Huantai Mall. And the manufacturer also listed some of the selling points of the new phone. For example, it includes 64MP water-light portrait four-shots, Reno Glow2.0-star diamond technology. The new smartphone also sports 65W super flash charging, smooth 5G. The machine comes in three colors of Starry Dream, Moonlight Black and Aurora Blue.

In addition, we expect the OPPO Reno 5 series to include OPPO Reno5, OPPO Reno5 Pro, and OPPO Reno5 Pro+. Both of them will sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chip, MediaTek Temena 1000+, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip. All systems come standard with 65W flash charging. Single punch straight screen / single punch high refresh rate curved screen design.
The Reno5 5G may sport a flat display of 6.43 inches, whereas the Reno5 Pro 5G and Reno5 Pro+ 5G could be housing 6.55-inch displays with curved edges. The ColorOS 11 based Android 11 may come preloaded on the device.
It is worth mentioning that currently OPPO Reno5/Pro has also been launched on JD.com to open an appointment. Judging from the pictures on JD.com, OPPO Reno5 uses a straight screen, and OPPO Reno5 Pro uses a curved screen.
