Every time we talk about 5G, the first manufacturer coming to our minds is Huawei. In fact, all top brands are working hard to bring their own models with such functionality. Moreover, most of them offer way better and cheaper 5G-enabled devices than Huawei. Say, recently, ZTE released the Axon 10 Pro 5G, which is a top-notch smartphone and costs less. As for another China-based first-tier smartphone maker, Xiaomi has announced its 5G smartphone long ago. Today, the company issued a statement, saying apart from the Mi MIX 3 5G, there will be the second Xiaomi 5G smartphone.

Yesterday, a Xiaomi 5G smartphone passed the 3C certification. The corresponding document also shows this handset supports 45W fast charge. According to the certification information, this Xiaomi 5G phone has passed the certification on August 5, 2019. The applicant and manufacturer are Xiaomi Communication Technology Co., Ltd., which comes standard with the new MDY-10-EX flagship charging head, supporting up to 45W (20V 2.25) fast charge.
However, there are some users thinking this is not the second Xiaomi 5G phone. They mean the new handset passed through CCC is the same what we had seen before. At least, they think this is not going to be a completely new handset. Most of them are sure this will be the 5G variant of the current flagships, the Xiaomi Mi 9 and the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 5G version features a 6.39-inch display with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 and the screen ratio is 93.4%. Under the hood, it carries the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC + Snapdragon X50 5G modem. On the front, it sports a 24MP + 2MP dual-camera. On the opposite side, we can find a 12MP wide-angle (Sony IMX363) + 12MP telephoto dual rare camera. Its camera supports the four-axis optical image stabilization. Unlike the 4G version, the 5G Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 is equipped with a 3800 mAh battery.
